Kampala International School Uganda welcomes back the cubs and lions for 2022-23 school year.

Through the school channels on social media, Kampala International School Uganda posted;

We’re excited to kick off the 2022-23 school year with you! Good luck to all of this year's finalists & we wish you all a successful school year.

Kampala International School Uganda (KISU) began teaching Ugandan pupils at its Bukoto campus in 1993. It has now developed to become Uganda's premier international school.

KISU offers a comprehensive, balanced curriculum based on the National Curriculum for England, IGCSEs (Cambridge), and the Multinational Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, which has been tailored to suit the school's international population and its location in Uganda.

KISU features cutting-edge facilities such as four scientific laboratories, three computer labs, three music rooms, three performance spaces, an indoor gym, an outdoor basketball court, a 25 metre eight lane competition swimming pool, two libraries, smart boards in most classes, and a five-acre playing field.

Students engage in a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including outdoor education and international visits to places like the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Mount Kilimanjaro, and an annual ski trip to Europe. Holistic education also encourages participation in community-building initiatives.

The Kampala International School of Uganda (KISU) features a primary department for pupils ages 2 to around 10 or 11 years old. The school follows the National Curriculum for England in general, with some modifications to accommodate for the school's location and foreign student community.

The KISU early years' department includes KG2 (2 years old), KG3 (3 years old), and Reception (4 years of age).
