As part of its tradition, Uganda's
premier reform education institution, Victoria University, has announced that
new students attending the university would be given laptop computers to help
them study in today's fast-changing digital world.
VU, as it is often called, takes pride
in being the only higher education school that allows students to study
anywhere, at any time, with access to free textbooks, and to graduate with job
experience. As a result, a laptop comes in useful to help pupils attain the aforementioned
goals.
Victoria University said that new
students starting in September will be able to enrol in its new laptop lending
plan, which will allow them to get computers without any problem.
Students who cannot afford a one-time
payment to buy their own computers will be offered the opportunity to own one
provided by the institution, with the stated amount paid off in manageable
payments over a certain length of time.
"It's official." The transaction
was completed. This semester, every student who enrolls at Victoria University
will get a laptop. Call 0782397699 for further information. Visit Victoria
University Towers, located on Jinja Road in Kampala City Centre."
"The intake is almost closed.
Don't let yourself be shut out. VU clarified in a tweet.
Victoria University, currently a
charter institution with a contemporary building in the heart of Kampala, is
fully recognised by the National Council for Higher Education to deliver
outstanding education, ranking it as Uganda's premier private university and a
worldwide centre of academic achievement.
Unlike at other colleges, students
have access to specific work experience in enterprises under the umbrella of
the Ruparelia Group of Companies, which also controls the fast-growing private
institution.
The University cultivates critical
thinkers and has the capacity, facilities, and determination to revitalise
higher education in Uganda and across the continent. It is dedicated to playing
a leading role in bringing and developing high-quality, student-centered
learning opportunities based on standards of excellence that are unique,
innovative, and difficult to match.
Victoria University is owned by
business magnate Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia and is part of the Ruparelia Group of
Companies, which has a large presence in Uganda's education sector, including
Kampala Parents School and Delhi Public School International.
