The Uganda National Examination Board put Felista, a scholarship student at her parents' Kampala school, in the second grade after she earned 13 aggregates (UNEB).
Several students who took the examinations, including emerging musician Faith Nanyanzi, also known as Felista Di Superstar, have already got their results, which were announced at the Statehouse Nakasero by Minister of Education and Sports First Lady Janet Museveni.
As word of Feslista's performance spread, praise from fans and celebrities started to pour in.
Felista di Celebrity started at Kampala Parents School two years ago through the Ruparelia Foundation Scholarship Scheme, where she met Fresh Youngster (real name Patrick Ssenyonjo), another superstar kid, and the two have since seen their academic levels improve to the standard."I would like to see her become a guide and inspiration to many young people out there; thus, the Ruparelia Foundation is presenting this young girl with a full scholarship from the Ruparelia Foundation to attend Kampala Parents' School," Rajiv Ruparelia, the foundation's managing director, said in 2020 when awarding her the scholarship. "We'll make sure you learn how to be confident, and we'll make sure everything we provide you helps your music career thrive," he added later.
