Kampala Parents School dedicates over 200 primary 7 candidates to ahead of PLE.

On Friday, November 8, 2023, Kampala Parents' School dedicated 214 Primary Seven Candidates to God in preparation for the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) that would take place the following week.

Among other things, the school performed prayers for the candidates at the school grounds in Naguru, Kampala, with a portion of parents and well-wishers accompanying the students in the session. The prayers were based on the pillars of life: spirituality, morality, and physical fitness.

Leading the vibrant ceremony were Imam Idi Kasozi, who represented the Muslim sect, and Kampala Archbishop, His Grace Paul Ssemogerere, who oversaw the prayers. Together, they anointed and committed the students to God in supplication that they would do well on their exams.

In her comments to the eligible candidates, KPS Principal Ms. Daphne Kato gave them the tools they needed to be calm and focused in order to fly the school's flag high and succeed in their bright future.

"As your seven years of basic education come to an end, know that the Kampala Parents' School family is always there to support you. Even when you finish up your revisions, try not to freak out, Mrs. Kato said.

"The Lord has appointed this moment for you to demonstrate to your parents, relatives, and instructors that you have received enough preparation from all those involved. Your future begins now, so lay a solid foundation now and continue to blaze brightly even as you pursue further degrees, the speaker said.

Mrs. Kato also expressed her profound thanks to Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, the school's Chairman of the Board, whose steadfast support, she said, is shown by the school's consistent performance in the PLE tests throughout the years.

She said, "I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the Chairman, the school administration, and all the stakeholders for their unwavering contributions to what you (the candidates) are today."

Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, the founder and head of the Kampala Parents' School Board, commended the 2023 P.7 candidates for their unwavering perseverance in getting to this point and exhorted them to aim high for success in the PLE examinations.

"I really commend our deceased candidates of 2023 for your diligence, tenacity, and sacrifice since the start of the year. Dr. Sudhir said, "I know it must have been a tough trek, but I assure you that it is the reason you will succeed because rough waves make experienced sailors."

He offered the applicants the best of luck in the 2023 PLE Exams and said, "Success comes to those that seek him; you have this, and God will do the rest."

With 214 students preparing to take the national examinations next week, Kampala Parents' School, one of the best-performing schools in PLE this year, is situated along Saddler Way in the urban district of Naguru.

A total of 749,347 applicants enrolled for the PLE Exams this year, and it is anticipated that they will take their final exams in the 14,442 testing centers located all throughout the nation, according to UNEB figures.

On Tuesday, November 6, 2023, applicants for Primary Seven will be briefed, and on Wednesday, November 07, and Tuesday, November 08, the tests will be held.
