Indians and tycoon Sudhir commemorate the 50th anniversary of Amin's expulsion of Asians from Uganda



Sudhir Ruparelia, a businessman, welcomed Indians at his house in Kololo and subsequently at Speke Resort Munyonyo to commemorate 50 years since previous President Idi Amin expelled them from Uganda.

The festivities started on Thursday at his house, where they ate and drank until the early hours of the morning, and continued on Friday evening in Munyonyo with extra events such as surprise performances, among others.


There were Indians from Uganda and others from all around the globe in attendance.

Ugandans such as business magnate Ephraim Ntaganda and media star Andrew Mwenda joined them.


Sudhir and his wife Jyotsna offered beverages and food as they relaxed for the evening.
